About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Resource Planning Specialist to join our team at American Honda Motor. As a key member of our workforce optimization team, you will be responsible for ensuring proper staffing for permanent and contingent resources through effective planning, data analysis, and communication.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of labor planning and management, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with department leadership to develop and implement strategies to optimize resource allocation and improve productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and enter manpower statistics and cost budgets in SAP
  • Analyze labor statistics and cost data, including wage and overtime
  • Generate detailed gap analysis for departments of responsibility
  • Conduct audits of manpower-related information to ensure accuracy of reports and analysis
  • Determine orders for appropriate resource management by labor type based on data and trend analysis results
Requirements
  • Associates degree in Business, Accounting, or equivalent related experience
  • 4+ years of applicable experience if no degree in a related field
  • Skilled in data analysis and knowledge of relevant policies and laws
  • Ability to manage confidential information and prioritize tasks with limited direction
