Job Objective

Lead, design, and execute innovative technical initiatives and solutions in the realms of Mass Production, Business Strategy, and New Model Development to effectively meet or surpass targets related to Safety, Environment, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Employee Morale.



Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively across all organizational levels to ensure a shared understanding and direction.
  • Analyze daily reports to identify gaps in safety, quality, and delivery, and develop potential countermeasures or root cause analysis opportunities aimed at continuous improvement.
  • Utilize data analysis and PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) methodologies to lead, support, and develop solutions in collaboration with relevant departments to address complex challenges.
  • Oversee and manage equipment and processes to ensure optimal manufacturing performance while minimizing operational costs.
  • Enhance the capabilities of oneself and colleagues through training, mentoring, and sharing of expertise.
  • Establish priorities and make informed decisions based on data analytics to effectively achieve business objectives.
  • Manage project implementation, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure successful outcomes and target achievements.
  • Test, assess, and implement new and innovative technologies to enhance overall equipment and process efficiency.
  • Develop and oversee investment and expense budgets to meet overall cost objectives.



Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with relevant experience (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Electrical) with a focus on Manufacturing
    • 6 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Preferred experience in manufacturing co-op or internship roles
  • Proficient in industry-standard software applications
  • Exhibit a positive attitude, open-mindedness, and a collaborative spirit
  • Strong self-motivation and a desire to thrive in a manufacturing setting
  • Self-directed and capable of providing guidance to others for success
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Adept at multitasking and solving complex problems through analytical approaches to propose and implement effective countermeasures based on timing, quality, and cost
  • Strong technical analysis and troubleshooting capabilities
  • Project management skills



Working Environment

  • Work in a production environment requiring personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to lockout procedures in manufacturing operations
  • Manufacturing setting with potential exposure to hydraulic oils, cutting lubricants, and ferrous and aluminum materials
  • Hands-on investigation and troubleshooting within equipment to address issues and identify improvement opportunities
  • Utilization of hand/power tools, automation equipment, quality gauging, and instrumentation
  • 50% office environment and 50% manufacturing lineside activities
  • Possible overtime of 10-15 hours per week
  • Potential weekend or off-shift support as required
  • Occasional travel (5% domestic and international)
