Position Overview:

We are in search of a highly qualified and seasoned Forecasting expert to take the helm of our vibrant team, focusing on Patient and demand Forecasting for both existing and upcoming pharmaceuticals within the Biopharma landscape. This senior-level role demands strategic foresight, exceptional leadership capabilities, and proficiency in articulating complex forecasting models, alongside delivering top-tier consultative solutions to our pharmaceutical partners. Beyond spearheading forecasting initiatives, this position will play a pivotal role in expanding our Forecasting practice among current and prospective clients, fostering capability development, and propelling Axtria's ongoing success and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted consultant to clients, grasping their business goals and working collaboratively to define forecasting needs and offer insights to shape brand strategies, marketing approaches, and sales tactics.
  • Formulate commercial development strategies and collaborate with stakeholders on the design and implementation of launch readiness plans for specific therapeutic offerings.
  • Oversee the creation of forecasts, guide critical forecast assumptions, and prepare presentations to support both early-stage and late-stage assets.
  • Continuously enhance and refine forecasting methodologies, integrating best practices and emerging trends to boost forecast precision.
  • Effectively convey and interpret forecast results, assumptions, and decision rationales to senior leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop a strategic roadmap for the Forecasting and Decision Science practices, driving growth and profitability.
  • Manage departmental growth initiatives, including talent acquisition, resource distribution, and business development efforts to broaden Axtria's presence in the Life Sciences arena.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Economics, Statistics, or related disciplines with over 10 years of pertinent industry experience, including 7+ years in management consulting and 5+ years in forecasting.
  • Demonstrated success in strategic and delivery leadership, business development, team oversight, and organizational expansion.
  • In-depth knowledge of Symphony patient claims data and IQVIA NPA data.
  • Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SAS, R, Python) is preferred.
  • Analytical thinker with strong business insight capable of influencing decisions indirectly.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear and concise language for non-technical audiences.
