Position Overview:
This role plays a vital part in achieving Ipsen's overall sales targets by executing assigned sales activities.

The Oncology Sales Specialist will equip physicians, pharmacists, and healthcare professionals with essential products, services, and information to ensure the safe and effective use of Ipsen's offerings.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to drive performance ethically and effectively within the designated territory. Strong business insight and customer engagement skills, along with scientific adaptability, are essential.
Your territory encompasses a diverse range of locations.

Job Responsibilities:
Meet the assigned sales goals for the territory.

Achieve specific targets for outreach to relevant healthcare professionals, delivering balanced, accurate, and comprehensive information regarding Ipsen's products.

Conduct visits to Physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to provide product details and ensure the availability of Ipsen's offerings in the area.

Engage in meaningful discussions with healthcare professionals, utilizing various data sets across a wide array of approved product indications.

Navigate complex organizational structures, including hospitals, health systems, community clinics, and specialty pharmacies.

Manage the territory efficiently, adhering to principles of prioritizing key physicians/accounts, daily reporting, and executing brand strategies through effective business planning.

Ensure completion of administrative tasks, including budget management, call reporting, and expense documentation, within established timelines and company policies.
Operate within the assigned expense budget.
Complete all mandatory training programs and continuously seek personal development.

Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines, including compliance with Ipsen's standards and policies related to job responsibilities.

Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Recognize and address managed care/payer issues within the territory.
Identify and cultivate Subject Matter Experts within the territory.
Demonstrate persistence, resourcefulness, and resilience.

Requirements:
B.Sc. or B.A. degree is required.
A minimum of five years of experience as a Pharmaceutical Representative, with at least two years in a Specialty Care/Institutional role.
Experience in the oncology field is highly preferred.
Background in health education is advantageous.
Academic qualifications in healthcare are a strong asset.
Ability to forge strong relationships is essential.
Proven team player.
Proficiency in computer skills is required.

A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory (no more than three moving violations in the past three years).
