Key Account Development Representative

We are seeking a skilled Key Account Development Representative to join our team at US Foods, Inc. This role involves fostering strong relationships with existing customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth in the foodservice industry.
Responsibilities:- Foster customer relationships in a team-based selling model
- Manage deliveries to published routing schedules and troubleshoot any problems that occur during the order process
- Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary, working with the credit department and clients
- Develop new business by leveraging market intelligence databases, business directories, and existing client leads
- Stay up-to-date on market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales to share value-added services with customers
- 1+ year of sales experience preferred
- Foodservice industry/culinary/restaurant management/hospitality experience preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities
- Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Competitive spirit and results-driven mentality
- Problem-solving ability/organization and negotiation skills
- Team-up mentality to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Office products – Experience using Customer Relationship Management tools preferred
The estimated salary for this role is between $65,000 and $100,000 annually, depending on relevant experience and education. The position is also eligible for incentive pay. Benefits may include health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.
