Key Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong history of delivering financial and operational insights, fostering operational excellence, and managing both internal and external relationships.
  • Act as a strategic financial advisor to the executives overseeing Customer Success, Customer Support, Global Services, and Renewals.
  • Develop and maintain robust relationships and financial collaborations with key executives and Customer Operations.
  • Coordinate with Sales Finance to align service financial plans and initiatives with Sales' strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Operations leadership to facilitate effective planning and execution.
  • Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes for Customer Operations, including:
    • Working with business partners to ensure accuracy in headcount, program expenditures, and other critical metrics based on operational performance.
    • Preparing variance analyses between budgeted and actual figures along with other pertinent reports.
    • Conducting thorough analyses to evaluate key drivers and metrics, while partnering to enhance operational efficiencies.
    • Working with the controllership team on accruals and other components of the closing process.
    • Continuously improving these processes as necessary.
  • Generate monthly and quarterly management reports that detail underlying performance, leading indicators, validation of planning assumptions, and essential business metrics.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Operations team to deliver consolidated metrics, including core financials and utilization rates, and drive solutions to enhance performance.
  • Lead and manage frequent ad hoc projects to support senior management in strategic business decisions.
  • Drive process and system enhancements and scaling initiatives within your area while collaborating on cross-functional teams to support the company's growth.

Required Skills:

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to work autonomously, think critically, and derive meaningful insights from both quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Financial Acumen: Proficiency in evaluating financial indicators and translating data into actionable strategies to achieve results.
  • Problem Solving: Capability to apply logical reasoning and sound methodologies to address complex challenges effectively.
  • Relationship Management: Skill in building constructive relationships with a diverse range of business partners, including senior management.
  • Influencing Skills: Proven ability to work effectively within a matrixed environment and assertively drive successful management strategies.
  • Presentation Skills: Proficient in delivering presentations in various settings, including one-on-one, small groups, and larger audiences.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), with at least 5 years supporting rapidly growing customer success or global services organizations preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills and experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Experience in building and mentoring high-performing teams.
  • High proficiency in FP&A systems is essential; experience with Anaplan and Tableau is highly advantageous.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are mandatory.
  • Prior experience in a high-growth technology or SaaS environment is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field from an accredited institution; CPA or another advanced professional credential is preferred.
