Position Overview:

The successful candidate will possess a strong history of delivering financial and operational insights, enhancing operational excellence, and effectively managing both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic finance collaborator for the executives overseeing Customer Success, Customer Support, Global Services, and Renewals.
  • Establish and nurture robust finance partnerships with key executives and Customer First Operations.
  • Collaborate with Sales Finance to align service financial plans and initiatives with Sales' strategic objectives.
  • Engage closely with Customer First Operations leadership to support planning and execution efforts.
  • Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes for Customer First, including:
    • Working with business partners to ensure accuracy in headcount, program expenditures, and other critical metrics based on operational performance.
    • Preparing budget versus actual variance analyses and relevant reporting.
    • Conducting thorough analyses to evaluate key drivers and metrics, and partnering to enhance operational efficiencies.
    • Collaborating with the controllership team on accruals and other aspects of the closing process.
    • Refining these processes as necessary.
  • Generate monthly and quarterly management reports detailing performance, leading indicators, validation of planning assumptions, and key business metrics.
  • Work alongside the Customer First Operations team to deliver consolidated metrics, including core financials and utilization rates, and devise solutions to maximize performance impact.
  • Facilitate and lead frequent ad hoc projects to support senior management in strategic business decisions.
  • Drive process and system enhancements and scaling initiatives within your area while collaborating on cross-functional teams to promote the company's growth.

Required Skills:

  • Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to work autonomously and derive meaningful insights from both quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Financial and business acumen to assess financial indicators and translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to resolving complex issues.
  • Effective relationship management skills to build constructive partnerships with a diverse range of business stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Proven ability to influence across all organizational levels and work effectively within a matrixed environment.
  • Strong presentation skills, capable of engaging in various settings, from one-on-one to large group presentations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), with at least 5 years supporting rapidly growing customer success/support or global services organizations.
  • Exceptional communication skills and experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Experience in building and mentoring high-performing teams.
  • High proficiency in FP&A systems is essential; experience with Anaplan and Tableau is highly advantageous.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency are required.
  • Prior experience in a high-growth technology/software/SaaS environment is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field from an accredited institution; CPA or other advanced professional credentials are preferred.
