Position Overview:
This role entails delivering comprehensive financial and clinical data analysis at the patient level to guide the operational, financial, and strategic decision-making processes within the medical center or health system, specifically focusing on Adult Services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct Return on Investment (ROI) assessments for capital and value enhancement initiatives.
2. Develop a case-based operating budget that reflects patient volume and detailed utilization forecasts, alongside gross revenue projections.
3. Manage profitability reporting for the Adult service line, including cost accounting and the integration of clinical and financial data into a patient-centric decision support system.
Performance Measurement:
Ensure effective measurement and benchmarking of business operations against industry best practices and internal business goals.
Compensation Note:
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals in accordance with UC policy. Consideration will be given to the experience of the selected candidate as well as the current salary levels of individuals in similar roles at UCSF.
Bargaining Unit Agreement:
For positions governed by a bargaining unit agreement, specific guidelines will dictate the placement of new hires within the salary range.
