Position Overview

Ulteig is in search of skilled professionals for the role of Electrical Engineer specializing in renewable energy. This position entails leading projects focused on wind energy and battery energy storage systems (BESS). The engineer will serve as a technical authority, employing established engineering methodologies on intricate projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee, plan, and coordinate detailed phases of assigned projects.
- Provide design insights, adaptations, and modifications for utility-scale wind and BESS medium voltage collection systems, including equipment layouts and associated drawings.
- Conduct engineering calculations utilizing relevant formulas and techniques.
- Mentor junior engineers and offer technical support.

Qualifications

- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent is required.
- A Professional Engineer (PE) or P.Eng. license is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of engineering experience is desirable.
- Proficiency in performing AC & DC studies using electrical modeling software.
- Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC), National Electrical Safety Code (NESC), and relevant industry standards is advantageous.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are essential.
- Candidates should be analytical, self-driven, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive demeanor.
- Permanent authorization to work in the United States is required.
