Position Overview:
Our client, CPS, is seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join their dynamic team in the manufacturing sector. This role is crucial for the development and maintenance of automated systems that enhance production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily troubleshooting of automated systems and electrical equipment.
- Oversee the maintenance and optimization of control systems.
- Plan, develop, and implement automation projects from inception to completion.
- Collaborate effectively with Operators, Supervisors, Mechanics, and other personnel within the facility.
- Lead automation initiatives ensuring seamless integration and functionality.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering is preferred; candidates with Electrical Engineering backgrounds may also be considered.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in batch or continuous process environments.
- Proven experience in process improvement methodologies is advantageous.
- Proficient in statistical software for data analysis and processing (DCS).
- Familiarity with continuous improvement practices, lean manufacturing, or Six Sigma tools is a plus.
