Ad Sales Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ad Sales Manager to join our New Business & Growth Accounts Team at KAYAK Software Corp.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing our largest digital advertising accounts, building strategic proposals, and closing new business partnerships in North America.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of the sales pipeline across our tourism board, supplier, and OTA partnerships
  • Build strategic proposals, media plans, and presentations for advertisers based on their campaign goals and measurement objectives
  • Closely work with the Commercial team to drive results and thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
  • Actively utilize cold emailing/calling and social selling tactics to close new business
  • Collaborate closely with account management to monitor performance and maintain consultative relationships with clients
  • Effectively communicate progress of campaigns to clients and internal partners
  • Work cross-functionally with internal partners to develop new ad products and process improvements
Requirements:
  • 4-6 years of digital advertising sales experience or similar work history
  • Travel/Tourism experience preferred
  • Advanced presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Goal-driven and ambitious self-starter with ability to deliver on targets without constant supervision
  • Deep understanding of the online media industry and/or travel in relation to your function
