ROLE SUMMARY:
We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Office Management Assistant. This position entails generating leads, fostering relationships with both potential and existing clients, ensuring client retention, and achieving sales objectives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Customer Engagement: Act as the primary liaison for current clients.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships, providing follow-up as necessary.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, addressing inquiries related to service availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy modifications, claims, and billing.
- Provide outstanding customer service by actively listening to clients, identifying their needs, and offering timely and professional solutions to build long-term relationships and encourage repeat business.
- Sales Initiatives: Identify leads, cultivate relationships, and follow up with prospective clients.
- Employ a customer-focused, needs-based sales strategy.
- Utilize effective communication to meet customer needs while supporting business growth.
- Monitor and document daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics.
- Team Leadership: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive dynamics, and product knowledge.
- Contribute positively to the team atmosphere by providing support and encouragement.
- Be a reliable resource for team members.
- Collaborate closely with other departments and corporate partners.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong commitment to customer service
- Preferred experience in sales (outside sales, inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing)
- Experience in the insurance sector is a plus, though not mandatory. Successful candidates have also come from Retail, Telecommunications, Automotive Sales, Leasing, Hospitality, and Convenience Store backgrounds.
- Ability to obtain Property and Casualty License
- Ability to obtain a Life/Health License
- Capability to meet mutually established marketing objectives
- Interest in marketing products and services based on client needs
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong time management and organizational abilities, with a knack for prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
- Base salary plus commission/bonus structure
- Base salary ranging from $35,300 to $39,600 for candidates without industry experience, with an average first-year income of $43,400 to $54,800 including commissions and bonuses. Higher base salaries available for experienced candidates.
- Support for obtaining Property & Casualty and Life & Health producer licenses for newcomers to the insurance field.
- Paid time off for vacations and personal/sick days
