Job Summary

As an Account Management Consultant at Cardinal Health, you will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining ongoing customer relationships with an assigned set of customers. Your primary goal will be to provide new and existing customers with the best possible service and recommendations in relation to billing inquiries, service requests, improvements to internal and external processes, and other areas of opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee assigned Medical Products and Distribution customer(s) as it pertains to supply chain health and general service needs.
  • Actively manage relationships between the customer's supply chain team and internal Cardinal Health teams to ensure flawless service.
  • Pursue, initiate, oversee, and take accountability for driving key initiatives that deepen the customer relationships and drive value for both customer and Cardinal Health.
  • Identify, interpret, and manage customer expectations and requirements through proactive account review, issue resolution, and regular engagement and review of key initiatives.
  • Lead order disruption prevention efforts by partnering closely with customer to identify best courses of action and oversee Cardinal Health execution.
  • Lead resolution of complex or persistent order situations where escalation or unique solutions are required.
  • Review key performance indicators monthly and identify plans for optimization.
  • Build and maintain long-term trusted relationships with customer to support retention and growth of the account.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, preferred.
  • 4-6 years professional experience; direct customer-facing experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong command of MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Highly motivated, creative, able to operate effectively within a team.
