Job Overview

PrideStaff - Visalia, CA is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our food production facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe production of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Supervise Production Staff: Lead and manage a team of production personnel, including roasting operators, sorting department personnel, and packaging personnel.
  2. Manage Production Operations: Oversee the raw processing departments, roasting and packaging lines, and ensure that all production meets quality parameters.
  3. Inventory Management: Manage WIP inventory during shift operations and reconcile shift inventory movement daily.
  4. Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet specifications and are correctly graded and certified.
  5. Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports for executing and monitoring production, and provide analysis and recommendations for process improvements.
  6. Training and Development: Train and develop reporting personnel on proper procedures and ensure that all employees adhere to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  1. Strong Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced production environment.
  2. Production Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a production supervisory role, preferably in the food industry.
  3. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with production staff, management, and other stakeholders.
  4. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve production issues.
  5. Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and able to learn and operate production equipment.
Working Conditions
  1. Physical Demands: Ability to lift, climb, bend, and reach, with frequent standing and walking.
  2. Work Schedule: Must be able to work a 3rd shift schedule, with occasional overtime and flexible hours.
