Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Project Executive who excels in strategic leadership within the construction sector. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing business strategies, fostering a culture of excellence, and driving team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and nurture high-performing teams through effective supervision, training, and mentorship, ensuring constructive feedback and timely performance evaluations.
  • Enhance client relationships to achieve a status of a trusted advisor.
  • Oversee the administration of contracts and subcontracts, ensuring compliance and understanding.
  • Lead initiatives that positively influence organizational change.
  • Encourage community engagement and build strategic partnerships.
  • Strengthen relationships with architects, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Establish and manage the Master Project Schedule, ensuring its effective implementation.
  • Collaborate with preconstruction teams during project development.
  • Manage financial aspects, including budget oversight and reporting, ensuring adherence to project financials.
  • Provide leadership in risk assessment, contract negotiations, and pricing strategies.
  • Advise on business ethics and compliance, promoting a culture of integrity.
  • Oversee field operations and engineering processes to ensure efficiency.
  • Drive knowledge in insurance, labor relations, and employee relations among team members.
  • Enforce safety protocols throughout project execution.
  • Support the adoption of innovative technologies and practices to maintain competitive advantages.
  • Foster an inclusive and diverse work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in engineering, architecture, construction, or project management within relevant sectors.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, project management, architecture, engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational capabilities, with a passion for collaboration across various teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adapting to new software tools for project tracking.
  • Technical expertise in building engineering and commercial project execution.
  • Comprehensive understanding of resource and financial planning.
  • Exceptional communication, writing, and organizational skills.
  • Positive demeanor and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
  • General knowledge of construction principles and practices.
