Job Overview

Machinery Assembly Project Leader (primarily an office-based role)

Company specializes in tooling solutions for major automotive manufacturers and other original equipment manufacturers (OEMs)

Compensation: up to $35/hour

ON-SITE ROLE, no remote work available. This position involves 80-90% office work.

***Candidates must possess a background in machinery assembly and demonstrate strong computer proficiency; experience with AutoCAD is highly advantageous.***

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with the Project Management team to support project oversight. As a Project Leader, you will engage in the project lifecycle from initial design through to final approval at the client’s location.

Your involvement as a Project Leader will include the following tasks:
· Initial project setup.
· Establishing budgets, timelines, and tracking outstanding issues.
· Preparing for meetings.
· Scheduling meetings and updating outstanding issues.
· Participating in weekly mechanical design review sessions.
· Releasing engineering designs.
· Maintaining project schedules.
· Engaging in financial assessments.
· Participating in both internal and external machine approval processes with clients.

Required Qualifications:
· Relevant experience in one of the following areas:
· Hands-on mechanical machine assembly.
· Mechanical design.
· Engineering.
· Educational background in manufacturing or mechanical design fields.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, and Excel.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.

This position is a 90-day contract leading to direct hire.
