Lead Salesforce Apex Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, develop, and implement both standard and bespoke Salesforce applications utilizing contemporary web technologies.
  • Create and configure custom objects, fields, picklists, page layouts, workflows, approval processes, validation rules, custom tabs, reports, Visualforce pages, dashboards, and email notifications in accordance with project specifications.
  • Demonstrate hands-on expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, Lightning Web Components, and Extension List.
  • Facilitate integration of Salesforce with both internal and external systems through Web and API technologies (SOAP, REST), utilizing MuleSoft Middleware for seamless connectivity.
  • Develop Apex batch processes and scheduled classes by employing Batch interfaces for efficient handling of large data volumes at designated intervals.
  • Oversee release management processes utilizing source control and deployment technologies such as ANT, GitHub, and Azure DevOps CI/CD Pipelines.
  • Ensure application code is validated against unit tests, security assessments, and profiling tools.
  • Assist in identifying, diagnosing, and rectifying defects within the system.
  • Produce comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications and deployment manuals.
  • Convert functional requirements into technical specifications.

Experience Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in Salesforce Development.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Note: An additional ten (10) years of relevant professional experience may substitute for a degree.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
  • Salesforce Certified Education Cloud Consultant
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator

Essential Experience:

  • Collaboration with Salesforce Architects, Developers, and Administrators in the development and maintenance of Salesforce applications.
  • Strong familiarity with the Salesforce product suite, including Service Cloud, Community Cloud (Experience Cloud), and App Cloud.
  • Ability to propose custom solutions to meet specific business needs.
  • Development experience in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and mobile application strategies.
  • Proficient in web development technologies such as Ajax, JavaScript, Angular JS, and CSS Bootstrap.
  • Experience in designing Picklists, Page Layouts, Workflows, Approval Processes, Salesforce Reports, Visualforce Pages, Triggers, Dashboards, and email notifications.
  • Proficient in migration processes between environments using DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitHub, and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with data loading tools, web services, and enterprise integration technologies.
  • Proficient in writing SOQL, SOSL, Aggregate, and Relationship queries in Apex classes, triggers, and batch classes while optimizing for governor limits.
  • Strong understanding of relational database concepts.
  • Experience with secure development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of security requirements and management, including single sign-on and data protection.
  • Ability to integrate Salesforce with internal and external systems using Identity Management platforms.
  • Experience with Data Loader for performing CRUD operations and bulk data management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written communication, and customer service skills.
  • Experience in creating technical documentation such as workflows and deployment guides.

Preferred Experience: Salesforce and Tableau certifications are advantageous.

Security Clearance: Active Secret Clearance required.
