  • Develop apex batch processes and scheduled classes by utilizing Batch interfaces for efficient handling of large datasets at predetermined intervals.
  • Oversee release management processes using version control and deployment methodologies, including ANT, GitHub, and Azure DevOps CI/CD Pipelines.
  • Ensure application code meets quality standards through unit tests, security assessments, and profiling tools.
  • Assist in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and rectifying software defects.
  • Generate comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications and deployment instructions.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Experience Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in Salesforce Development.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Note: An additional ten (10) years of relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
  • Salesforce Certified Education Cloud Consultant
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience collaborating with Salesforce Architects, Developers, and Administrators in the development and maintenance of Salesforce applications.
  • Solid understanding of the standard Salesforce product suite, including Service Cloud, Community Cloud (Experience Cloud), and App Cloud.
  • Capability to recommend custom solutions to meet specific business needs.
  • Development proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and mobile application strategies.
  • Familiarity with web development technologies such as Ajax, JavaScript, Angular JS, and CSS Bootstrap.
  • Experience in designing picklists, page layouts, workflows, approval processes, Salesforce reports, Visualforce pages, triggers, dashboards, and email notifications.
  • Experience with environment migration using DevOps tools and processes, including Jenkins, GitHub, and Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of scripted data loaders, web services, and enterprise integration technologies.
  • Proficient in writing SOQL, SOSL, and aggregate queries in Apex classes, triggers, and batch classes while optimizing for governor limits.
  • Strong grasp of relational database concepts.
  • Experience with secure development practices and knowledge of security requirements such as single sign-on and data protection.
  • Ability to integrate Salesforce systems with internal and external platforms using identity management solutions like OKTA.
  • Utilized Data Loader for CRUD operations and bulk data management using CSV files.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written communication, and customer service skills.
  • Experience in creating technical documentation such as workflows and deployment guides.

Preferred Experience: Salesforce and Tableau certifications are advantageous.

Security Clearance: Active Secret Clearance required.
