Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the analysis, specification, and design of testing for components within a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) framework.
  • Contribute to the development of Performance Testing Strategies, including detailed Performance Testing Plans and Scripts.
  • Conduct both manual and automated testing to ensure that all primary functionalities operate according to specifications.
  • Design and execute both positive and negative test scenarios.
  • Perform compatibility assessments when Salesforce integrates with third-party applications and both internal and external systems.
  • Utilize load testing tools such as JMeter to validate complex workflows that may yield inconsistent results in Salesforce.
  • Employ automated testing tools including ACCELQ, HP Unified Functional Testing (UFT), Cucumber, and others for efficient testing processes.
  • Carry out Functional and Performance Tests using industry-standard tools like QTP, Loadrunner, or equivalent tools, analyze outcomes, and provide actionable recommendations for enhancements.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with the technical team.
  • Possess knowledge of Apex programming.

Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4-6 years in a test lead role.
  • At least 2 years of practical experience with the Salesforce platform.

Educational Background:

  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or a related IT field.

Additional Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with testing tools such as ACCELQ, HP Unified Functional Testing (UFT), Cucumber, and others.
  • Familiarity with XML, JAVA, and SOAP or similar programming languages.
  • High proficiency in troubleshooting, characterizing, and documenting software defects.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a quick learning aptitude.
  • Proven capability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team in a dynamic environment.
  • Effective workload management and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
  • Experience in Functional and Performance Testing of CRM Applications.
  • Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) methodologies and SCRUM practices is highly desirable.
  • A development background is advantageous.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Certified Salesforce Administrator
  • Certified Salesforce Cloud Consultant

Security Clearance: Active Secret Clearance required.
