Lead Salesforce Apex Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, develop, and integrate both standard and bespoke Salesforce applications utilizing contemporary web technologies.
  • Create custom objects, fields, picklists, page layouts, workflows, approval processes, validation rules, custom tabs, reports, Visualforce pages, dashboards, and email generation tailored to project specifications.
  • Demonstrate hands-on expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, Lightning Web Components, and related technologies.
  • Facilitate integration of Salesforce with internal and external systems employing Web and API technologies (SOAP, REST), as well as MuleSoft Middleware for seamless connectivity.
  • Implement apex batch processes and schedule classes by utilizing Batch interfaces for efficient handling of large data sets at designated intervals.
  • Oversee release management processes using version control and deployment technologies such as ANT, GitHub, and Azure DevOps CI/CD Pipelines.
  • Ensure application code is validated against unit tests, security assessments, and profiling tools.
  • Assist in identifying, diagnosing, and rectifying defects within the system.
  • Develop comprehensive project documentation, including technical designs and deployment guides.
  • Translate functional specifications into technical requirements for development.

Experience Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in Salesforce Development.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or a related IT field.
  • Note: An additional ten (10) years of relevant professional experience may substitute for a degree.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
  • Salesforce Certified Education Cloud Consultant
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator

Experience in:

  • Collaborating with Salesforce Architects, Developers, and Administrators to develop and maintain Salesforce applications.
  • Understanding the standard Salesforce product suite, including Service, Community Cloud (Experience Cloud), and App Cloud.
  • Advising on custom solutions to meet specific business needs.
  • Development in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and mobile application approaches.
  • Web Development technologies such as Ajax, JavaScript, Angular JS, and CSS Bootstrap.
  • Designing Picklists, Page Layouts, Workflows, Approval Processes, Reports, Visualforce Pages, Triggers, Dashboards, and email generation.
  • Managing environment migrations using DevOps processes and tools like Jenkins, GitHub, and Azure DevOps.
  • Utilizing scripted data loaders, web services, and middleware for enterprise integration.
  • Writing SOQL, SOSL, Aggregate, and Relationship queries in Apex classes, triggers, and batch classes while optimizing for governor limits.
  • Applying secure development practices and understanding security requirements such as single sign-on and data protection.
  • Integrating Salesforce systems with internal and external platforms using Identity Management solutions.
  • Employing Data Loader for CRUD operations and bulk data management using CSV files.
  • Exhibiting strong interpersonal, written communication, and customer service skills.
  • Creating technical documentation such as workflows and deployment guides.

Preferred Experience: Salesforce and Tableau certifications are advantageous.

Security Clearance: Active Secret Clearance required.
