PNP Staffing Group is pleased to assist American Baptist Home Mission Societies in their search for a Financial Operations Manager.

SALARY: $90,000-$110,000

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Financial Operations Manager will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer and will be accountable for overseeing the preparation of financial reports, conducting financial analyses, managing budgets, and handling cost accounting. This role also involves providing financial management, analysis, strategic insights, and business support for various program areas.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Prepare and assess financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

• Assist the CFO in the annual budgeting process.

• Coordinate the annual audit process.

• Supervise staff engaged in accounting, billing, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.

• Provide financial analysis and reports as required by the CFO.

• Act as the business manager for associated ventures, advising on financial matters related to publishing and other entrepreneurial activities.

• Recommend financial and operational policies to the CFO.

• Collaborate with partner organizations to ensure accurate financial reporting and planning.

• Support staff with inquiries regarding financial policies and procedures.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with a minimum of 5 years of senior-level accounting and supervisory experience is required.

• Experience in non-profit accounting is preferred. CPA or MBA credentials are a plus.
