Job Overview
As a leader in our accounting department, you will oversee a team of accountants and support personnel responsible for ensuring the precise and timely execution of financial transactions, maintenance of the general ledger, and adherence to accounting standards. Your role will involve training, motivating, and evaluating team members while managing their workloads and schedules. You will also address inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring prompt resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and manage all routine accounting operations, including month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and review compliance filings and audited financial statements, including regulatory reports.
  • Oversee the daily computation of Net Capital and weekly Reserve calculations.
  • Assist in determining the accounting treatment for new transactions and products.
  • Prepare and analyze quarterly reports for the parent organization.
  • Support annual audits conducted by internal and external auditors.
  • Provide essential financial insights to management to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of six years of relevant accounting experience.

Preferred Skills:
- Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; familiarity with Power BI or Power Query is a plus.
- CPA certification and management experience are advantageous.

Work Environment:
This position offers a hybrid work schedule, requiring in-office attendance for three or more days per week, with flexibility for remote work on other days.
