Key Responsibilities:
The Administrative Support Specialist will be responsible for providing essential office support to both staff and visitors. Key duties include:

  • Operating mailing, copying, and dock equipment.
  • Exhibiting a positive and cooperative demeanor while maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Managing time-sensitive and confidential materials, including mailings and event setups.
  • Welcoming visitors and creating a positive first impression.
  • Handling a multi-line phone system and routing calls effectively.
  • Managing customer-facing email accounts and maintaining schedules for conference room bookings.
  • Setting up and dismantling conference room arrangements.
  • Creating and editing documents using Microsoft Office.

Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will possess prior experience in customer service and demonstrate a collaborative spirit. Additional qualifications include:

  • Reliable transportation to locations not accessible by public transit.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is advantageous for fast-tracking to management roles.
  • Experience in receptionist or customer service roles.
  • Preferred background in hospitality.
  • Proficiency in keyboarding and familiarity with Windows-based PC environments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds.
