Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Departmental Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, including scheduling, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular room inspections to ensure that high standards of cleanliness and quality are maintained.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and coaching to housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver excellent service.

  • Problem-Solving: Anticipate, prevent, and solve problems as they arise, ensuring that guest satisfaction and hotel operations are not impacted.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or hospitality environment, with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or management role.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.
  • Certifications: Certified in hospitality management or a related field, such as the Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) or the Certified Hospitality Administrator (CHA) certification.
