Talent Management Director

The Tephra Human Resources team is responsible for driving business-wide strategic goals through the effective management of talent initiatives across the organization.

The Director, Talent Management will be responsible for creating and implementing global talent management and development programs that align with the overall talent strategy for the organization.

The ideal candidate brings knowledge and experience with best practices regarding leadership development, succession planning, and performance management along with leadership of enterprise-wide talent and/or performance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement revamped talent management offerings including leadership development, performance management, succession planning, career development programs, employee engagement, and talent assessments
Facilitates communication and execution of activities with key internal stakeholders (business units, functions, vendors) through all phases of talent management/talent development programs
Provide advice to business units/functions on talent program design and execution, including reimagining talent management for the future
Bring innovative solutions and protocols to enable the achievement of Tephra's talent strategy through a focus on building a robust internal talent pipeline, retaining top talent, improving manager capability, and a culture committed to the development and growth of our employees
Reviews and suggests appropriate talent program metrics that are linked to HR objectives and goals
Produces, validates, and provides guidance on data analysis to measure program performance and ROI
End-to-end responsibility for strategic planning and scalable implementation of short and long-term talent program goals

All About You:

10+ years of related experience in creating, deploying, and managing talent strategies, programs, and solutions linked to business growth objectives
Experience managing complex talent program design, implementation, communication, and operations
Experience building working partnerships with leaders and acting as a trusted advisor for business units on talent issues
Experience creating talent initiatives and/or implementing enhancements to talent programs/processes based on relevant best practices, external trends, and data
Track record of driving talent programs from inception to fruition
Demonstrated success facilitating internal/external working sessions, including demonstrated experience facilitating talent sessions with senior-level executives
Demonstrated success building relationships and delivering results on key strategic initiatives
Experience leading and supporting global teams
Ability to translate business strategy and operational plans into actionable talent management plans and programs
Experience implementing and/or utilizing talent management technology
Worked effectively with Senior-Level Executives and leaders at all levels
