The Medical Office Receptionist plays a crucial role in managing daily client interactions and ensuring a seamless experience for our patients. This position is pivotal in fostering customer loyalty and satisfaction, acting as the primary point of contact between our clients and the internal teams. The ideal candidate will excel in identifying client needs and surpassing their expectations.

Key Responsibilities of the Medical Office Receptionist:
  • Welcome and assist visitors by greeting and directing them appropriately.
  • Handle payment processing and manage bank deposits.
  • Maintain patient records with confidentiality and comply with legal privacy standards. Schedule and update appointments, follow up on missed visits, and respond to new patient inquiries promptly.
  • Exhibit professionalism in appearance and communication, both written and verbal. Collaborate with team members to enhance the patient experience.
  • Perform light cleaning duties to maintain an organized and inviting office environment. Conduct monthly inventory checks and manage ordering supplies.
  • Verify insurance information and efficiently process new patient intakes while discussing available services.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Background in customer service with a minimum of 6 months experience in a medical front office setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
  • Able to effectively manage a high volume of patient interactions and phone calls simultaneously. Familiarity with EMR systems is preferred.
Work Schedule:

Availability includes weekdays and some weekends, with a structured schedule to ensure work-life balance.
