Job Overview

The Residential Services Coordinator (RSC) plays a pivotal role in delivering victim-centered and trauma-informed support to individuals recovering from human trafficking within a secure residential environment. The RSC oversees the daily operations of the residential program, assists clients in managing their schedules, and facilitates life-skills training, case management appointments, and participation in various program activities. As a member of a multidisciplinary team, the RSC provides essential direct care services under the guidance of the Residential Manager.


Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Duties:
  • Oversee the intricate operational requirements of a residential safe house.
  • Ensure adherence to all residential policies, procedures, and protocols in alignment with organizational values.
  • Assist in the revision and dissemination of operational manuals and maintain communication with team members.
  • Conduct regular audits of the residential facility, focusing on security, medication management, and overall safety.
  • Manage inventory and procurement of residential supplies, including food and first aid materials.
  • Supervise medication storage and ensure compliance with best practices.
  • Coordinate facility maintenance, inspections, and upkeep.
  • Monitor safety and security systems to foster a healing environment.
  • Implement routine inspection protocols for all residential facilities.
  • Oversee the maintenance and management of residential vehicles.
  • Assist the Residential Manager in scheduling and payroll for residential staff.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise residential volunteers.
  • Support client care duties as necessary, including emergency transportation.
  • Assist in budget management as directed by the Residential Manager.

Client Support:
  • Promote a safe and healthy community living atmosphere.
  • Help clients navigate a structured daily program.
  • Address individual client needs with sensitivity and responsiveness.
  • Facilitate client attendance at service provider, legal, and healthcare appointments.
  • Guide clients through onboarding and program guidelines.
  • Provide daily transportation for clients to various appointments and errands.
  • Assess and manage crises and conflicts among residents.
  • Document client incidents and requests accurately.
  • Respond to emergencies following established protocols.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to documentation and reporting.
  • Update client information in the case management system.
  • Complete assigned tasks as directed by the Residential Manager.
  • Participate in scheduled meetings and training sessions.
  • Assist with special projects as required.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated maturity, flexibility, and resilience with a positive outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage administrative responsibilities.
  • Willingness to learn and apply trauma-responsive techniques in client interactions.
  • Commitment to empowering residents in their recovery journey.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications.
