We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Business Development Leader to join our team at Airtron Heating & Air Conditioning - Austin. This key role involves leading the development of our Retail business, driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Estimated Annual Salary: $100,000 - $140,000

The ideal candidate will possess 10+ years' experience in the HVAC industry, with 5+ years' experience leading a sales team. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills are essential for success in this role.

About the Role:

  • Develops and implements strategies to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction
  • Leads and develops the retail sales, service and customer service team
  • Creates and reviews service and financial KPI's for the Retail business
  • Provides leadership, training and coaching to ensure optimal performance of the Retail team
  • Ensures compliance with safety standards and promotes a safety culture
  • Provides regular performance updates to senior management
  • Meets or exceeds gross profit and consumer budgets
  • Ensures accurate invoicing and recording of financial data
  • Develops and implements training programs for the Retail team
  • Ensures high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
  • Monitors and controls inventory and assets
  • Recruits and hires new team members, maintaining adequate staffing levels
  • Improves processes and operations continuously

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent; experience may be substituted for education
  • 10+ HVAC or related industry experience
  • 5+ years' experience leading a team
  • 5+ years' experience driving successful sales teams
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Financial acumen
  • Computer competency is required, including experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with ERP, customer service or related computer software
  • Knowledge or aptitude to understand HVAC systems and processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to work overtime with little notice; weekends hours may occasionally be required.
