Key Responsibilities- Establish and Maintain Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and current customers to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
- Introduce New Products and Services: Introduce new products or services to local trucking, coach, delivery, emergency, and construction fleets to increase revenue and market share.
- Develop Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a working knowledge of products and services offered to effectively communicate their value to customers.
- Identify New Business Opportunities: Actively seek and identify new customers through cold calling in the assigned territory to expand our customer base.
- Utilize CRM: Maintain customer contact information and communications utilizing our Company's CRM to ensure accurate and up-to-date customer data.
- Analyze Customer Needs: Analyze customer needs and determine how our company's products and services can best be utilized to meet their requirements.
- Prioritize Sales Activities: Prioritize and organize sales call activities to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Review Sales Activities: Review sales activities, opportunities, and objectives with internal departments to ensure alignment and progress.
- Timely Completion of Daily Logs: Timely completion and submission of daily customer visit logs to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Assist with Customer Issues: Assist with customer parts returns, warranty support, service issues, and disputes as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Product Knowledge: Working knowledge of trucks, diesel engines, HD transmission, and driveline is preferred but not required.
- Customer Service Skills: Good customer service, communication, telephone, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
- Self-Motivation: Be a self-motivated, dependable, and driven individual who can work independently with minimal supervision.
- Relationship Building: Ability to effectively build relationships with customers and co-workers to achieve sales goals.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and experience in the heavy-duty truck parts or service industry is preferred but not required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and prior experience with Salesforce is a plus.
Other RequirementsAbility to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the position, location, and/or customer.
