Position Overview
As a Stock Management Specialist, you will be instrumental in ensuring operational efficiency by maintaining precise system and physical inventory levels. Your core responsibilities will encompass cycle counting, conducting root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies, and collaborating with planning, production, and shipping teams to fulfill customer needs effectively. Your role in inventory management will be vital in driving cost efficiency, reducing stockouts, and enhancing overall supply chain performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform physical inventories, cycle counts, and reconciliations to ensure accurate inventory documentation.
  • Reduce stock shortages by maintaining meticulous records and timely updates.
  • Investigate and rectify discrepancies between physical stock and system records, implementing corrective measures and providing team training.
  • Enhance inventory stocking strategies and warehouse management practices, including optimizing physical layouts and implementing Kanban or VMI systems.
  • Actively engage in Material Review Board (MRB) and Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) activities to uphold appropriate inventory levels.
  • Support and maintain detailed reporting for the planning and inventory team, facilitating data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Proficient in Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP) / Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities
  • Commitment to product quality and safety standards

Education & Experience:

Required:

  • High school diploma

Preferred:

  • With a high school diploma: Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management or relevant supply chain operations
  • With a bachelor's degree: No experience required
  • ASCM CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management)
