Position Summary:
The Culinary Specialist will oversee their designated station, which includes preparation and cooking of menu items according to established standards and recipes. Responsibilities also encompass maintaining a clean and sanitary workspace and performing a thorough breakdown of their station.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and stock food items and necessary supplies.
- Prepare dishes using various cooking techniques to meet specified recipes and standards.
- Ensure cleanliness and adherence to food safety regulations by properly handling food and maintaining correct storage and labeling.
- Clean and sanitize cooking surfaces throughout the shift.
- Conduct inventory checks and communicate with chefs regarding stock levels.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment for all team members.
- Collaborative team player.
- Proficient knife skills.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs or more.
- Paid Vacations: All team members, whether salaried or hourly, are entitled to paid vacations, accruing one week after one year, two weeks after two years, and three weeks after three years.
