We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Associate to join our clinical team at Mount Sinai Health System. As a key member of our multidisciplinary care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support services.
Responsibilities- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Collect and process specimens, perform procedures, and maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Support the registered nurse in patient care activities, such as vital sign monitoring and health data collection.
- Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans, working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, promoting a patient-centered approach to care.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of current experience as a PCA/CNA preferred or Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, Finger stick and EKG skills, Computer skills.
- BLS required (American Heart Association).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional, courteous, and respectful attitude.
