Patient Care Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Associate to join our team at Mount Sinai Hospital. As a key member of our clinical care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support services.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Collect and process specimens, perform procedures, and maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Support registered nurses in patient care activities, such as vital sign monitoring and health data collection.
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team planning and implementation.
- Perform therapeutic interventions, including EKGs, finger sticks, and other procedures as directed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of current experience as a PCA/CNA preferred or Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, Finger stick and EKG skills, Computer skills.
- BLS required (American Heart Association).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
