ROLE OVERVIEW
In the role of Project Estimator, you will play a vital role in our operations. This position requires you to provide essential support in estimating project costs and managing financial aspects, ensuring precise pricing for bids and proposals. A significant part of your responsibilities will involve collaborating with diverse stakeholders to evaluate project specifications and address any challenges that may arise. You will also oversee project activities from start to finish, focusing on organization, budgeting, and scheduling.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary duties for this position include:
- Leveraging historical data to forecast current and future project costs.
- Interacting with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to create accurate estimates and resolve concerns.
- Examining project documentation to assess time, materials, and labor requirements.
- Working with various stakeholders to modify cost estimates as necessary.
- Thoroughly reviewing contract details and project scopes.
- Participating in project meetings and site assessments.
- Coordinating with junior team members to ensure precise project take-offs and material sourcing.
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Project Management/Estimating within the electrical sector.
- A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management is preferred.
- Familiarity with construction regulations and industry standards.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This role may involve some physical demands, including sitting, standing, and occasional lifting. Candidates must be able to commute to various job sites.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Expect a combination of office work and field visits, with exposure to varying environmental conditions.
