ROLE OVERVIEW

In the capacity of Project Coordinator - Estimation Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the organization. This position entails providing essential support in estimating and managing project expenses, ensuring precise pricing for bids and proposals. A significant part of your responsibilities will involve collaborating with diverse stakeholders to assess project needs and resolve any issues that may arise. Furthermore, you will oversee project activities from initiation to completion, with a strong emphasis on organization, budgeting, and scheduling.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary duties associated with this role include:
  • Leverage historical data to forecast current and future project costs.
  • Engage with clients, vendors, and internal teams to develop accurate estimates and address any concerns.
  • Examine project documentation to ascertain time, materials, and labor estimates.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to modify cost estimates as necessary.
  • Thoroughly review contract details and project scope.
  • Participate in project meetings and site assessments.
  • Coordinate with junior team members to ensure precise project take-offs and material procurement.
  • Maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires the following qualifications:
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Project Management/Estimating within the electrical sector.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management preferred.
  • Familiarity with construction regulations and industry practices.
