Role SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Project Coordinator to oversee our projects effectively. This role is essential for ensuring project success through precise cost estimation and comprehensive management of electrical projects from initiation to completion.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all facets of electrical projects, including design, planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Prepare thorough project cost estimates and proposals, leveraging expertise in electrical systems and financial forecasting.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers, to meet project specifications and proactively address potential challenges.
- Monitor project timelines and budgets, making necessary adjustments to stay on track.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, negotiating contracts for optimal terms.
- Provide regular updates on project status to senior management.
- Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical systems and project management.
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is preferred. Candidates should possess a minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical project management and estimating within commercial or industrial settings.
Proficiency in electrical systems, including lighting, and expertise in cost estimation are essential. A strong understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations is required. Familiarity with project management software and tools is also necessary.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines and possess excellent negotiation skills with a proven history of securing advantageous contract terms.
