LOCATION: Houston, TX
ROLE SUMMARY: The Estimator will be responsible for evaluating assigned projects and managing the complete estimating process. This role involves close collaboration with other estimators, project managers, and construction teams, reporting directly to the Estimating Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Thoroughly analyze the entire RFP/bid opportunity and collaborate with Project Management Leads to create detailed and accurate project estimates.
- Establish checklists and procedures to guarantee precision and mitigate risks.
- Support the Project Management Lead and Procurement Director with essential subcontractor and vendor agreements and acquisitions.
- Oversee scheduling and cost assessment for construction equipment.
- Exhibit ownership and accountability in all job facets.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating for Midstream projects, particularly in industrial/process mechanical estimating for piping systems and rotating/process/mechanical equipment.
- Familiarity with advanced technology projects, including semiconductor manufacturing, hyperscale data centers, battery production, and solar manufacturing.
- Experience in industrial projects such as power generation and petrochemical sectors.
