ROLE SUMMARY
As a Project Management Estimator, you will play a vital role in our operations. This position is centered around providing essential support in estimating and managing project costs, ensuring precise pricing for proposals and bids. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders to assess project needs and address any challenges that may arise. Additionally, you will oversee project activities from start to finish, with a strong emphasis on organization, budgeting, and scheduling.
KEY DUTIES
The primary responsibilities of this role include:
- Leveraging historical data to forecast current and future project expenses.
- Engaging with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to create accurate estimates and resolve any issues.
- Reviewing project documentation to ascertain time, materials, and labor costs.
- Working with various stakeholders to modify cost estimates as necessary.
- Thoroughly examining contract details and project scope.
- Participating in project meetings and site evaluations.
- Coordinating with junior team members to ensure precise project take-offs and material sourcing.
- Maintaining relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- 7-10 years of experience in Project Management/Estimating within the electrical sector.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management is preferred.
- Familiarity with construction regulations and industry standards.
