Job Description

**Job Title:** Store Operations Manager

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Operations Manager to join our team at Ross Stores, Inc. As a Store Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and employee development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Store Operations: Oversee all aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and employee development.
  • Manage Sales Floor: Ensure that the sales floor is well-organized, visually appealing, and easy to navigate.
  • Manage Inventory: Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise, as well as the management of inventory levels and stockroom organization.
  • Develop and Train Employees: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates and department managers.
  • Manage Expenses: Oversee the management of store expenses, including labor costs, inventory costs, and other operational expenses.
  • Ensure Customer Satisfaction: Foster a positive and welcoming shopping environment, ensuring that customers receive excellent service and have a positive shopping experience.

Requirements:

  • 2+ Years of Retail Experience: Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of success in sales, customer service, and employee development.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of employees.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze sales data, inventory levels, and other operational metrics to inform business decisions.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide a positive and welcoming shopping experience for customers.
