Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the coordination of activities among internal and external teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Formulate strategic capital expenditure plans and supervise significant projects and equipment enhancements
  • Lead improvement initiatives from conception through to implementation
  • Work closely with technical engineers and operational staff to adopt new technologies
  • Ensure compliance with project budgets and analyze discrepancies as needed
  • Provide constructive feedback while fostering a positive team environment
  • Make prompt decisions and utilize resources effectively

Qualifications

  • Experience in scheduling maintenance work and overseeing contractors to achieve installation objectives
  • Reliability in attendance and task completion
  • Proficiency in design and project management software, including AutoCAD and Microsoft Project
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in project or engineering management, ideally within heavy industry
  • A strong commitment to workplace safety

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Project Management, or equivalent professional experience
