We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to collaborate with our mechanical engineering team in delivering projects of diverse complexity for our power generation clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the design and engineering of modifications and enhancements to power generation facilities, focusing on mechanical systems and functions.
  • Conduct engineering calculations, developing design criteria, and performing analyses using various software packages.
  • Perform stress analysis on piping systems and custom components utilizing tools such as AutoPIPE and Caesar II.
  • Execute hydraulic analysis for pump and piping systems, considering various flow conditions.
  • Contribute to the development of detailed design models using AutoCAD, Plant 3D, and other design software.
  • Design tanks and vessels in accordance with ASME BPVC and API standards.
  • Oversee HVAC design and equipment selection.
  • Develop specifications and datasheets for major and minor equipment.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
  • A minimum of eight years of experience in piping and plant design.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with industry codes and standards such as ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, NFPA, ANSI, and API.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Working under the guidance of Senior Engineers and Engineering Managers.
  • Leading project design efforts and supervising the development of project documentation.
  • Applying fundamental design principles to create comprehensive and accurate design packages.
  • Preparing project proposals in response to client requests for proposals (RFPs).
  • Possessing in-depth knowledge of power generation mechanical systems.
  • Conducting site walkdowns to gather detailed field information.
  • Collaborating closely with engineers and design teams across multiple disciplines.
  • Ensuring the preparation and completion of engineering designs and supporting documentation.
  • Performing technical reviews of deliverables and project documents.
  • Managing personal task assignments while adhering to project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Assisting in resolving construction issues and supporting design staff in problem-solving.
