Position Overview

Role Summary

We are currently seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to provide vital support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver systems engineering and cybersecurity expertise for assessments related to weapons and space systems.
  • Utilize an unbiased approach to interpret adversarial perspectives and transform threat intelligence into practical mitigation strategies across Computer Network Operations (CNO) and Computer Network Defense (CND), as well as system design and network administration.
  • Assess various vulnerability reports and propose conceptual mitigations and subsequent actions.
  • Facilitate Risk Management processes to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders regarding threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Ensure that evaluation and mitigation strategies are technically robust, effectively communicating mission impacts and associated threats.
  • Analyze user requirements and high-level system architectures to derive system specifications.
  • Provide technical guidance for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
  • Engage with government representatives concerning technical considerations and related challenges.
  • Maintain communication with program personnel, government officials, and senior management.

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience (a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field may account for 4 years).
  • At least 3 years of experience in leading and collaborating with diverse organizations to achieve systems engineering objectives.
  • Proven experience in cybersecurity, systems engineering, and vulnerability assessment.
  • Ability to prioritize vulnerabilities and comprehend their implications on mission objectives.
  • Experience in the systems engineering of DoD command, control, communications, and intelligence (C3I) systems.
  • Skilled in analyzing requirements and contributing to the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of computer networks and systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the DoD Information Network (DODIN) and the certification and accreditation processes for DoD IT systems, including Risk Management Framework (RMF) protocols and current cybersecurity threats.
