Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Windows Systems Engineer to support a significant Naval Program. This role involves collaborating with a dedicated team of System Engineers to provide both onsite and remote assistance to users. The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and manage all system-related responsibilities effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage user accounts in Active Directory, focusing on authentication processes, file permissions, and domain administration.
- Utilize SCCM for system management, deployment, and security enhancements.
- Optimize the Windows environment while adhering to STIG guidelines and ensuring server hardening.
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for this role ranges from $65 to $80 per hour, with variations based on experience, skills, and education. Benefit packages commence on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options. Additionally, employees will have access to a 401k retirement plan with employer matching and paid sick leave.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience in Windows Engineering (experience may substitute for degree).
- Possession of IAT Level II Certification.
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Proficient in troubleshooting Windows Operating Systems (7, 10, and/or 11).
- Experience in setting up and managing Active Directory domains, including domain controllers and group policies.
- Strong automation skills using tools such as SCCM and WSUS.
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting for system management automation.
- Experience with data protection tools like Backup Exec, Commvault, or NetBackup.
- Familiarity with virtual environments using VMWare or Hyper-V.
- Experience in maintaining STIG compliance in production environments.
