Key Responsibilities:
The High Performance Computing Systems Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Leading the systems engineering initiatives to support advanced computing systems.
  • Defining system requirements and developing verification and validation strategies.
  • Utilizing model-based systems engineering methodologies tailored for R&D environments.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to mentor and enhance team capabilities.
  • Conducting trade studies and developing metrics for novel technology applications.
  • Establishing and enforcing standard processes and best engineering practices.
  • Demonstrating technical leadership and engaging in systems thinking.
  • Staying informed on state-of-the-art technologies relevant to transformational computing architectures.

Qualifications:
Basic qualifications include:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or higher in a STEM field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Science) with relevant experience.
  • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
  • Direct technical experience in at least four of the following areas:
    • High Performance Networking and Traffic Modeling.
    • Modeling high performance computer systems for performance projection.
    • Traffic pattern analysis in complex computing networks.
    • Collaboration with Systems Engineering and Digital Design teams.
    • Effective communication of architectural principles to stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred candidates will have:

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Expertise in custom hardware system design.
  • Knowledge of microwave and high-speed design principles.
