This role is pivotal in the design, development, and testing of semiconductor products for both internal and commercial clients, as well as for cutting-edge technology initiatives.

Position Overview:

The Senior RF Test Solutions Engineer will assume a leadership role in architecting and executing test solutions for mixed-signal and RF integrated circuits (ICs). This individual will be responsible for:

  • Understanding and defining new product testing requirements.
  • Designing innovative test solutions to fulfill these requirements.
  • Developing essential software and hardware components.
  • Conducting verification and validation processes necessary for engineering and production test approvals.

This position demands a proactive approach to overcoming complex testing challenges, contributing to the advancement of manufacturing IC test solutions. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Providing training and certification for team members.
  • Engaging in program discussions related to test planning and resource allocation.
  • Assisting management in formulating test strategies and schedules.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 14 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 12 years of experience, or a PhD with 10 years of experience.
  • Proven experience in semiconductor test software and hardware development.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role focusing on production test solutions.
  • Experience in mentoring and developing talent within a team.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • Hands-on experience with probe card and fixture design, including layout and assembly coordination.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Python, C++, or Java.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated innovation in test solution development, including patents or intellectual property disclosures.
  • Familiarity with various fabrication technologies and processes, particularly deep node silicon and III-V devices.
  • Experience in developing test solutions for MMICs and RFICs across diverse frequency ranges and power levels.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver presentations to cross-functional teams and senior management.
  • Active involvement in technical conferences and presentations.
