UW Medicine Foundation Data Model Analyst

UW Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Foundation Data Model Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Workday Foundation Data Model (FDM) on behalf of the clinical enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and respond to requests for FDM updates from across UW Medicine, partnering with stakeholders to ensure updates are properly evaluated, approved, defined, tested, implemented, communicated, and documented.
- Maintain all aspects of the UWM Consolidated Close Calendar functionality within Workday, ensuring scheduled dates and timelines are correct and providing timely, accurate communication around closing schedule and status to stakeholders.
- Participate in and support the accounting department's efforts related to business process design and improvement, as well as technology streamlining and increased efficiencies for end users.
- Prepare and present written and verbal reports to management and staff as requested.
- Serve as a UW Medicine Finance representative on committees, task forces, and other initiatives as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Four years' experience in accounting operations, including financial reporting and month-end close.
- Highly organized with the ability to run a process involving multiple stakeholders across a wide range of disciplines, ensuring adherence to policies around approvals, testing, documentation, and communication.
- Demonstrated ability to delve into new subject areas and quickly understand the fundamentals.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, technical documentation skills, user liaison skills, and personal interaction abilities.
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of reliability, accuracy, and productivity, navigating any reporting data domain or subject area.
- Experience with enterprise financial systems such as Workday, Oracle, or other.
