We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine Specialist to join our team at UW Medicine. As an Academic Anesthesiologist, you will play a critical role in providing general and liver transplant anesthesia services, while also contributing to the teaching and training of residents, fellows, and medical students.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing liver transplant surgery
- Teach and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students in the field of anesthesiology
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical care protocols and guidelines
- Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives
- MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent)
- Board certification or eligibility in anesthesiology
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Washington
- Minimum of one-year fellowship training in liver transplant anesthesia
