Job Summary

Rose International is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Specialist to join our team. As a Business Intelligence Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, modifying, and analyzing data components to create insights for a business intelligence technology solution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Schedule ETL Solutions: Develop and schedule Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) solutions that recognize dependencies, pre-processing tasks, and post-processing tasks for data administration, using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
  • Understand Data Models and Business Processes: Understand pertinent data models and business processes to fulfill user requests for maintenance, support, and enhancements.
  • Develop and Maintain Data Storage Structures: Develop and maintain complex data storage structures needed to support data warehouse functions to ensure data is maintained in consistent formats.
  • Build, Update, and Monitor Data Warehouse and Business Systems Performances: Build, update, and monitor the data warehouse and business systems performances maintaining the integrity.
  • Deploy Solutions Utilizing Business Intelligence Concepts: Deploy solutions utilizing Business Intelligence concepts, such as data mining, and trend analysis to provide insights.
  • Design and Develop Report Visualization: Design and develop Tableau and PowerBI report visualization including complex dashboard design through MDX queries.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent education in computer science, math, or related science field required.
  • 5+ Years of Experience: 5+ years of writing query languages using SQL Server management studio with T-SQL required.
  • 5 Years of Experience in Business Intelligence Development Tools: 5 years of experience of working on Business Intelligence development tools SSIS required.
  • 3 to 5 Years of Knowledge of Data Analysis: 3 to 5 years of knowledge of Data Analysis in Production, Development, and Staging Environments.
  • 3+ Years of Experience in Dashboard Development: 3+ years of experience working on dashboard development in Tableau and PowerBI.
  • Expert Knowledge of Source Control Tools: Expert knowledge using on source control tools (TFS, Visual Source Safe).
