Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Specialist to join our team at Ohm Systems, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and business intelligence, with experience in developing and implementing data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and schedule ETL processes using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to ensure accurate data administration.
  • Maintain complex data storage structures and monitor data warehouse performance to ensure optimal data management.
  • Develop OLAP cubes, DataMart, and perspectives using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) for business intelligence development.
  • Design and develop data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to provide insights and support business decision-making.
  • Troubleshoot data issues, validate results, and ensure business logic requirements are met to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Apply business intelligence concepts such as data mining and trend analysis to derive insights and drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and T-SQL.
  • 5 years of experience with business intelligence development tools such as SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
  • 3+ years of experience with dashboard development using Tableau and Power BI.
  • Proficiency in source control tools such as Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Visual Source Safe.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and systems analysis skills to drive business growth and success.
