Position Responsibilities:

As a vital member of the Cadillac Strategic Innovations and Analytics team, you will contribute significantly to the formulation of retail strategies through data science. You will assist the Strategic Innovations and Analytics Manager by crafting analytical solutions aimed at enhancing business outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying problems and assessing their impact across extensive vehicle datasets, utilizing data mining, predictive modeling, simulation, and visualization techniques to gain insights and optimize internal performance.
  • Conducting hands-on analyses, designing search patterns, developing mining automation, and executing data reduction tasks.
  • Mentoring colleagues to foster analytical skills within the organization.
  • Staying updated on the latest software and hardware products, trends, and identifying optimal solutions to fulfill business needs.
  • Building strong collaborative relationships with peer teams to evaluate requirements and determine suitable statistical techniques for available data.
  • Leading the collection of new data and refining existing data sources.
  • Establishing best practices for instrumentation and experimentation and communicating these to peer teams.
  • Providing analytics that support Complex Event Processing and Real-Time Event Processing in the context of Big Data.
  • Serving as the subject matter expert in Data Analytics, focusing on both Predictive and Prescriptive analysis, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.

Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience utilizing data to address challenges, answer inquiries, and create visual representations.
- At least 4 years of experience in data quality analysis and data architecture.
- A minimum of 4 years of professional development experience.
- Over 4 years of experience with Big Data technologies on the Hadoop/Hive/Spark platform using Python/Scala.
- A Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, Physics, Computer Science, or other STEM fields is preferred, although a Bachelor's degree will also be considered.
